By registering for the Dreiländer-Lauf, you automatically agree to our race regulations.
1. participation is at your own risk and responsibility.
Regular endurance training and good health are prerequisites for a start.
It can be life-threatening to start with or directly after infectious diseases or cold symptoms (SARS-COV2).
2. no liability of any kind is assumed by the organiser, the Dreiländerlauf association or its partners/sponsors, nor by the cities of Basel, Huningue, Saint-Louis or Weil am Rhein. This also applies to accidents, theft and liability towards third parties. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
The place of jurisdiction is Basel.
3. sporting and fair behaviour is required.
The race number is personal and must be clearly visible and unfolded from the front.
Alterations to the start number will result in disqualification.
Timekeeping is carried out exclusively with a chip.
The instructions of the course organisers are binding.
Private vehicles, bicycles and private escorts are not permitted.
Shortcuts, especially on pavements, are not permitted.
The “broom wagon” forms the official end of the race. It rides behind the last participant.
The first three in each category will receive prizes in kind at the award ceremony. Those who do not take part in the award ceremony will voluntarily forfeit their prize.
4. in the event of incidents, weakness of runners or accidents, please inform the nearest marshal immediately and request assistance.
The course marshals and medical staff are authorised to take runners with health problems out of the race.
5. runners who are unable to start the Dreiländer-Lauf are not entitled to a refund of the entry fee.
If the race cannot be held or can only be held in part due to force majeure or in the event of cancellation due to coronavirus of any kind, there is no right to a refund of the entry fee.
6 I agree to the disclosure of my personal data such as surname and first name, private address (street, no. postcode and town), date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address to partners (e.g. photo and video service), unless I prohibit the disclosure of the data by sending a message to the following e-mail address:

These partners may use the data for their own services or advertising purposes and, in the case of sponsors, for targeted addresses and telephone campaigns (in particular for the sponsor SWICA) in connection with the running event that have been agreed in advance with the organiser. You can revoke your consent to the forwarding of data to third parties at any time.
7. your personal data (surname and first name, address, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address) will be used by SWICA for the organisation of the Dreiländer-Lauf Basel and for marketing purposes (including telephone contact for insurance advice). The use of the data for the aforementioned purposes can be prohibited at any time and without giving reasons by sending a message to [jean-denis@3laenderlauf.org]. The data will only be stored for as long as the purpose or a legal basis justifies storage. Once the purpose of processing no longer applies or the retention period has expired, the data will be deleted in accordance with data protection regulations. During this time, Dreiländer takes all technical and organisational measures to protect the data from unlawful and incorrect processing. The data subject can assert their rights to the personal data at any time. The Swiss Data Protection Act applies.
